This morning, on June 27, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the city of Samar in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A fire broke out at the site of the hit, and there were killed and wounded, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded in the city of Samar due to a Russian rocket attack. A fire broke out. We are clarifying the information," said the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Later, Lysak said that 3 people were killed in the Russian attack. 14 people were wounded, and the information is being clarified.

Death toll rises sharply

"The number of people killed in the city of Samar has risen to four, with 17 others injured," Lysak reported.

According to him, most of the wounded have been hospitalized. Two men and one woman are in critical condition, while the rest are in moderate condition.

Earlier, Lysak also wrote that several explosions were heard in the city of Samar, and the Ukrainian Air Force reported a ballistic missile threat to Dnipro and the region.

Russian strikes on Ukraine's Samar

Russian troops have struck the city of Samar in the Dnipropetrovsk region several times in recent weeks. For example, on the afternoon of June 24, Russian troops attacked the Dnipro region with rockets. In particular, other settlements in the region, including the city of Samar, came under Russian fire.

At the time, there were reports of killed and wounded in the city. Due to the Russian attack, June 25 was declared a day of mourning in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
