Russia strikes Ukraine's Odesa with cluster-munition ballistic missile: Casualties reported

On Tuesday, July 7, Russia struck Odesa with a ballistic missile carrying a cluster warhead. Six people were injured as a result of the attack, according to a statement by the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"Once again, cynically disregarding the norms of international humanitarian law, the Russian army launched an attack on the civilian Odesa region, using a ballistic missile with a cluster warhead," he emphasized.
Kiper said that as a result of the enemy attack, a building on the premises of a production facility and vehicles caught fire. Work to eliminate the aftermath is currently ongoing.
According to the head of the regional military administration, six people were injured as a result of the missile strike on Odesa.

On the night of July 6, Russian forces launched an attack on Odesa. As a result of the strike, a 23-year-old man was injured, and residential buildings were also damaged.
In addition, during his visit to the Odesa region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the command of the Ukrainian Navy. One of the key topics was increasing the number of helicopters to more effectively counter Russian drones.
