Russia strikes Ukraine's Kremenchuk: Casualties reported

Russian forces struck Kremenchuk in the Poltava region today, December 23. All necessary emergency services are already on site, according to Kremenchuk Mayor Vitalii Maletskyi and the Poltava Regional Military Administration on Telegram.
The Poltava Regional Military Administration reported that during one of the daytime air raid alerts, the Russian army struck a facility in the Kremenchuk community. Two people were injured.

"Medical personnel are providing them with the necessary care. All relevant services are operating on site. Vital infrastructure facilities are functioning normally," the agency added.
Meanwhile, Maletskyi urged city residents not to post photos or videos of the strike’s aftermath and not to share information about it on social media.
Night attack
On the night of December 23, Russian forces carried out a massive strike on Ukraine. The enemy used over 630 attack drones, 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles, and three Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
The attacks mainly targeted the western regions of the country, with energy infrastructure facilities among the main targets.
As a result of the Russian strike, emergency power outages were implemented across all regions of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, in Kyiv, five people were injured during the attack. A five-story building in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital was damaged, with partial destruction of the roof and damage to the facade.
