Russia strikes Ukraine's Kramatorsk with guided bombs, killing one and injuring 15

Russian forces launched guided aerial bomb (KAB) attacks on the Kramatorsk community on Thursday evening, August 13. Residential buildings were damaged, and more than a dozen people were injured, according to Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Vadym Filashkin.
"Between 8:30 p.m. and 8:56 p.m., the Russians attacked Kramatorsk and the village of Bilenke eight times. Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy used aerial bombs," the statement said.
According to Filashkin, strikes hit residential areas in Kramatorsk. In particular, an apartment building was damaged.
At least one person was killed and 15 were injured, Filashkin wrote.
All relevant emergency services are currently working at the scene, providing assistance to those affected and assessing the full extent of the damage.
Filashkin urged residents to evacuate.
"Russia has once again turned an ordinary evening in the city into a deadly danger. This is neither an accident nor a mistake — this is how the enemy wages war against our people. I urge all residents of the Donetsk region: protect yourselves and your loved ones! Evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine!" he wrote.
On August 4, Russian forces struck Kramatorsk with guided bombs. The attack damaged residential and non-residential buildings and injured more than 20 people.
