Russia strikes Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi: Consequences revealed

As a result of the Russian attack on Khmelnytskyi on the night of September 3, houses, an educational institution, communal infrastructure, and other facilities were damaged. There are also problems with electricity supply and public transport, according to the mayor of Khmelnytskyi, Oleksandr Symchyshyn.
"Another Russian terrorist attack on our community. Ukrainian air defense forces worked effectively, there were shootdowns,” the mayor said.
As of 7:45 a.m. Kyiv time, there is no information about casualties or injuries. At the same time, significant damage has been recorded in the city and community.
More than 50 windows in an educational institution have been broken and damaged, so today it will operate remotely.
More than 100 windows in residential buildings have also been damaged, destruction has been recorded on the territory of a municipal enterprise, and private garages and cars have been destroyed or damaged.
Part of the municipal infrastructure and non-residential premises were also damaged.
One of the villages in the community experienced power supply problems - energy companies plan to restore power within three hours.
Public transport is gradually returning to its routes, but delays and disruptions to schedules are expected due to damage in the city.

On the night of Wednesday, the Russians carried out another combined attack against Ukraine, using cruise missiles from strategic aircraft, Kalibr missiles, and strike drones.
Lutsk, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad region, and western regions were under Russian attack. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv and the surrounding area.
In Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, after the Russian strikes, parents are being asked to keep their children at home.
