Russia strikes Ukraine's Kharkiv with drones, leaving several injured

On the morning of August 5, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with Banderol missile drones. The strikes resulted in casualties, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
A Banderol strike was recorded in the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv. Russia targeted a civilian business.
In the Kholodnohirskyi district, the strike hit the grounds of a private residence. 15 nearby houses and several cars were damaged.
In total, 8 casualties have been reported in Kharkiv so far—three in the Kholodnohirskyi district and 5 in the Novobavarskyi district.
As of 10:57 a.m., 2 more women sought medical assistance in the Novobavarskyi district.
As a result of the Russian strike, they suffered acute stress reactions.
The total number of casualties in the city has risen to 9 people.
Russian strikes on Ukraine on August 5
On the night of August 5, Russia launched 28 missiles and 115 drones against Ukraine. However, air defense forces were unable to intercept Russia's ballistic missiles.
The main target of the attack was the Kyiv region.
In Kyiv, damage has been reported in the Holosiivskyi, Obolonskyi, Desnianskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts.
Residential infrastructure in the city was damaged, fires broke out in warehouses, and an ammonia leak occurred in the Holosiivskyi district, which has already been contained. One person was killed, and over 20 were injured.
Epicenter, ROZETKA, and the Nova Poshta postal and courier company also came under Russian fire.
