Russia strikes Ukraine's Kharkiv with ballistic missile: High-rise hit, gas leak reported

On the morning of February 20, Russians struck the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv with an Iskander-M missile, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Russian strike on Kharkiv
At around 5:10 a.m. Kyiv time, Russians launched a missile strike on the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv. Preliminary findings indicate that Russia used an Iskander-M missile.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov notes that Russia carried out a strike near residential high-rise buildings, damaging 7 houses and an administrative building.
2 cars caught fire as a result of the Russian strike, and windows were broken in apartments.
A gas leak was also detected at the scene, but emergency services quickly localized the problem.

In addition, on February 19, Russia struck the city of Lozova with strike drones, preliminarily of the Geran-2 type. Critical infrastructure, apartment buildings, and cars were damaged.
On the same day, a hundred pigs were killed, and a 58-year-old employee of the enterprise was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike on a farm in the village of Dvorichnyi Kut, Solonytsivka community.
Russia constantly strikes Kharkiv
Frontline Kharkiv is under constant Russian fire. The occupiers most often use ballistic missiles, strike drones, and guided aerial bombs (GAB) for their strikes. Due to its proximity to the border, missiles launched from Russian territory reach the target in less than a minute.
On the night of February 3, Kharkiv was under Russian fire for over 3 hours. The Russians deliberately targeted the energy sector during a period of severe frost, draining water from the pipes.
Before that, the Russians launched a missile strike on a five-story building in Kharkiv. The building was destroyed as a result of the attack.
