Russia attacked the Lozova community in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the Russian strike, 15 settlements were left without electricity, according to Serhii Zelenskyi, head of the Lozova city territorial community.

"Critical infrastructure has been damaged in the Lozova community following a Russian attack," Zelenskyy says.

He also notes that 15 settlements are currently without power. Specialists are already working to restore everything as quickly as possible.

"Be careful on the roads—there may be broken wires. Do not approach them or touch them. In case of danger, immediately call the emergency services," adds the head of the Lozova city territorial community.

Russian strikes on Ukraine's energy sector

Yesterday, November 20, Russia attacked energy infrastructure in four regions of Ukraine.

Thus, in Ukraine today, November 21, power outage schedules will continue to apply to residential consumers, including hourly outage schedules for residents ranging from 2.5 to 4 shifts and power restriction schedules for industrial consumers.

At the same time, Ukrenergo, the national power company, notes that the time and scope of the restrictions may change. This will be reported on the official websites of the regional power companies.

Earlier, Ukrenergo stated that no deterioration in the power system or increase in power outages due to severe frosts is currently expected. However, due to Russian attacks, it is necessary to be prepared for various scenarios.

In addition, according to the IAEA, three Ukrainian nuclear power plants were forced to reduce their capacity after Russian strikes on November 19.
