On the night of September 23-24, Russians launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv and the surrounding region. Russian strikes caused fires and casualties, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Kharkiv
Late yesterday evening, September 23, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kharkiv. According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the first explosion was heard at around 10:10 p.m. The Russian attack continued for about an hour. 17 explosions were heard in the city.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that 4 fires broke out in the Kholodnohirskyi district as a result of the Russian attack.
"A store building, a farm building, and other objects were on fire. Private residential buildings and cars were damaged. One person was injured," the emergency services report.
Chuhuiv district
Later, on the night of September 24, Russia struck Chuhuiv with drones. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a residential building, a garage, and cars were on fire at two spots in the city. One person was injured as a result of the Russian attack.
In addition, a residential building and farm buildings in the village of Buhaivka, Chuhuiv district, were also on fire.

Russian strikes on Kharkiv
The Russians regularly strike Kharkiv, using drones, missiles, and aerial bombs for their attacks.
