Russian troops attacked Ukraine's gas infrastructure on January 15. Despite the strike, gas supplies to the people are uninterrupted, according to the Naftogaz company of Ukraine.

“This morning, Russia struck another insidious attack on Ukraine's gas infrastructure. As before, Russia seeks to leave Ukrainians without heat and gas,” the statement said.

Naftogaz emphasizes that all the company's enterprises are operating normally. Gas supplies to the population are uninterrupted, and there have been no outages.

“All the consequences of the Russian attack will be eliminated soon,” the company adds.

Russian strike on Ukraine on January 15

On the evening of January 14, the Russian occupiers launched drones at Ukraine. On the morning of January 15, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the launch of Russian missiles.

In total, Russia fired 43 missiles and 74 drones at Ukraine that night. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 30 missiles and 47 drones, while another 27 drones did not reach their targets.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia attacked Ukrainian energy facilities, including gas infrastructure in Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Unfortunately, the Russian attack resulted in damage to the facilities.

In the Lviv region, Russia struck 2 critical infrastructure facilities in Drohobych and Stryi districts.
