Russian troops attacked Dnipro with drones tonight, August 29, damaged infrastructure and caused injuries, according to Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.

"Two people were injured in the drone attack on Dnipro, and both were hospitalized. A 46-year-old man is in serious condition. A 69-year-old man is in moderate condition," Lysak says.

According to him, fires broke out, which were extinguished by rescuers. In addition, an infrastructure facility and a fire station were damaged.

"The Synelnykove district – the communities of Mezhova, Slovianka, Pokrovske, and Vasylkivka – also suffered. Russia targeted them with drones. Unfortunately, two people died – a man and a woman. My sincere condolences to their families. A 50-year-old woman was injured. She was given first aid on the spot," added the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration.

He also added that fires broke out on the territory of the enterprise, as well as in private houses and dry grass. Gas stations and cars were also damaged.

"Russia also directed a drone at the Novopil community in the Kryvyi Rih district. A fire broke out, but it was extinguished," Lysak added.

Russian troops attacked the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine with strike drones tonight, August 29.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian troops launched 68 drones at Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian air defenses shot down or suppressed 46 Shahed drones and various types of imitation drones in the north and east of the country. 22 drones were also recorded hitting 9 locations in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

A one-year-old boy and a 70-year-old man were injured as a result of the Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia region. Several private houses caught fire.
