Russia strikes Ukraine's Chernihiv region: Fires broke out, casualties reported

Russian troops attacked the Chernihiv region with strike drones at night. Russian strikes caused several fires, injuring a woman, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district military administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov.
In the Koriukivka district, a Russian strike on a facility resulted in a fire. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine quickly extinguished the fire.
In the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, Russia damaged an administrative building. During the extinguishing of the roof fire, a woman born in 1958 was rescued.
In Chernihiv, a technical building of an enterprise was also hit. The fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no casualties.

"Russia has once again struck a civilian facility, this time the recreation center of Cheksil-Yaroslavna LLC. An elderly woman was injured," Seliverstov says.

Russian strikes on Ukraine on October 27
On October 27, Russian troops attacked Chernihiv and the Chernihiv region with strike drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported several groups of drones heading towards Chernihiv. Monitoring channels wrote that there were about 15 Shahed drones near the city. A Russian Shahed drone fell in the center of Chernihiv.
Four residential buildings were damaged in the regional center as a result of the Russian strikes, and one person was injured. A farm building caught fire in the Chernihiv district. There were no casualties.
Also, on the night of October 28, the Russians struck Kherson and the surrounding communities with various types of drones.
