Russia attacked a high-rise building with a strike drone today, December 25, resulting in a fire, according to Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration.
"Russia struck a 5-story building. A fire broke out in an apartment. Information is being clarified," says the head of the Chernihiv regional military administration.
Dozens of windows were knocked out, and a large hole was formed on the third floor. A fire broke out in the building.
Bryzhynskyi also reports that Russia attacked a critical infrastructure facility during today's strike. There are casualties and injuries reported.
"Preliminary reports indicate that one person has been killed. Three people have been injured, including one child," says Bryzhynskyi.
Later, the head of the regional military administration reported that 5 people had been injured. He also says that a Russian drone had destroyed an entire floor of the high-rise building. All emergency services are working at the scene.

The Chernihiv city council reported that one person was killed and five were injured in the Russian strike, four of whom were hospitalized.
All emergency services are working at the scene, and firefighting operations are ongoing. Once the rescue workers have completed their work, the municipal services will begin urgent emergency repair work.
Within the radius of the Russian strike, around the five-story residential building that was hit by a Russian drone, other buildings were also damaged, with dozens of windows broken.

In addition, a Russian drone with cluster munitions was neutralized in the Chernihiv region. The police received information about the remains of a Russian drone found in the Koriukivka district — the drone fell in an open area.
