During Russia's nighttime attack on Kyiv, the synagogue building and a nearby residential building were damaged, according to Ukraine's Chief Rabbi Moshe Azman.

Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Azman, showed the aftermath of the Russian strike, noting that it hit near a place where people usually gather for prayer.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

On the night and morning of October 22, Kyiv was attacked by Russian drones and missiles. Russians began striking the city at 4 a.m., resulting in 29 casualties, including 5 children.

All of them received the necessary medical assistance.

On the night of October 23, air raid sirens were sounded several times in Kyiv and the surrounding regions.

At first, the Russians attacked Kyiv with drones. In the Podilskyi district, debris from a Russian drone fell on the roof of a residential building. At another address, debris fell near a residential building.

In the Obolonskyi district, damage to a residential building by Russian drone debris was recorded. Meanwhile, in the Desniansky district, an apartment building was damaged. People were injured during this Russian attack.

The second air raid alert was declared due to the threat of Russian ballistic missile strikes.

A few minutes later, the Ukrainian Air Force added details about a specific high-speed target heading for the city of Kremenchuk.

Ukrainians were urged to immediately move to safe places and follow civil defense instructions until the alert was over.

Residents of Kyiv whose property was damaged by Russian attacks were allowed to receive all necessary assistance and support through a special chatbot called єОпора, according to the head of the Kyiv city military administration.
