Russia strikes Sumy region, injuring civilians

On the evening of July 26, Russia struck civilian infrastructure in the Sumy region, injuring at least three people, according to a statement by Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov.
"In the evening, Russia once again targeted civilian infrastructure in the Sumy community, specifically in the Kovpakivskyi district of the city. As a result of the strike, civilians were injured," Hryhorov stated.
According to him, at least three people were wounded and all have been taken to local hospitals for treatment.
"Doctors are conducting examinations and providing the necessary care. One of the injured, a 43-year-old man, is in moderate condition," Hryhorov added.

Russia launched a drone attack on Sumy on July 26. The strike led to disruptions in the city's electricity and water supplies.
The attacks targeted civilian infrastructure, with one of the drones hitting the building of the Sumy Regional Military Administration (RMA), causing damage to the administrative facility.
