Russia strikes shopping mall in Ukraine's Dnipro, casualties reported

Russian Federation launched a new attack on Dnipro in Ukraine on the evening of September 19, striking a shopping center, according to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council head Mykola Lukashuk and Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha.
Around 6 p.m., Hanzha reported that Russian forces launched another attack on Dnipro.
He wrote that a fire broke out in the city.
"Information about any casualties is being clarified," the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration added.
At 6:20 p.m., Lukashuk explained that Russia had hit a local shopping center. The facility was identified as the Novyi Kontynent shopping center.

"The enemy attacked Dnipro, striking a shopping center. A fire broke out. Russia follows its usual tactics—targeting businesses and enterprises," the head of the regional council wrote.
Amid this, he again urged civilians to pay close attention to Air Force alerts and not ignore air raid warnings.
At 6:33 p.m., Hanzha reported that at least two people had been injured in the Russian attack on Dnipro.
The regional military administration chief said the attack damaged warehouse facilities, a shopping center, and apartment buildings in the city.

A 59-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were injured. Both were hospitalized in moderate condition.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Russia was preparing targeted strikes on major retail chains in Ukraine.
We also reported that on the morning of September 17, Russian forces attacked a shopping mall in Kharkiv.
