Situation in Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv region, fighting is taking place in 2 areas - Kupiansk and Kharkiv (in the north of the region). Currently, no Russian advances have been recorded in these areas, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the line.
However, Russians are shelling the frontline and border settlements of the region daily. Kharkiv is also under Russian fire almost every day. Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, stated that the Russian troops were using Kharkiv as a springboard for testing modified ammunition.
