During an air raid alert in Kharkiv, explosions were heard. Russia attacked the city with guided bombs, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

He stated that a residential high-rise building was hit.

"One of the guided bombs struck a residential building. Information on casualties is being gathered," Terekhov wrote.

According to preliminary data, seven people were injured, said Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

At the site of the impact on the high-rise building, a fire has erupted, affecting both the building and cars nearby, Terekhov reported.

According to Syniehubov, Russian troops hit a five-story building between the third and fourth floors. At least ten cars are on fire. Rescue teams are evacuating residents, and efforts to extinguish the fire and search for people are ongoing.
