Russia strikes residential building in Kamianske: Apartments on fire, child among injured

The city of Kamianske in the Dnipropetrovsk region was hit by a drone attack last night. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a residential high-rise building, and there are casualties, reports he head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"Kamianske. The enemy has once again attacked civilian infrastructure. An enemy drone hit a nine-story residential building. Apartments are on fire," the official said in his Telegram.
He added that emergency services are currently working at the scene.
Additionally, according to preliminary reports, three people have been injured, including a child.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that more information regarding the consequences of the drone attack on the city will be made available in the morning.
For reference: Kamianske is located on the shores of the Kamianske Reservoir, in the middle course of the Dnipro River, below the dam of the Middle Dnieper Hydroelectric Station, 35 km west of the regional center, the city of Dnipro. The population of Kamianske (according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine as of January 1, 2022) is 226,845 people.

As previously reported, the evening before, the launch of kamikaze drones by Russian forces was recorded. Due to the threat of Shahed drone attacks, air alerts were declared in several regions of Ukraine.
Later at night, it became known that several explosions were heard in Kropyvnytskyi amid the drone attack.
The head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration later reported that as a result of the kamikaze drone strikes by the enemy, warehouse buildings in Kropyvnytskyi were damaged. Additionally, an enemy UAV damaged a mobile communications tower in the Lypnyazka community of the Novoukrainka district.
