Explosions were heard in the vicinity of Kropyvnytskyi on the night of April 26. The movement of enemy strike drones was detected heading toward the city, according to the Ukrainian Air Force and Suspilne Kropyvnytskyi.

The military warned residents of Kropyvnytskyi about the threat of a drone attack. Several groups of enemy drones were detected moving toward the city.

Local social media outlets first reported an explosion in Kropyvnytskyi around 00:25 Kyiv time.

Approximately ten minutes later, new explosions were heard in the vicinity of the city, according to local media and social media outlets.

It was also reported online that at least 8 Shahed drones were detected heading toward Kropyvnytskyi.

"Friends! Do not ignore the air alert! Take care of your safety," wrote the head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, Andrii Raikovych, on his Telegram.

As of now, there is no official information regarding the possible consequences of the drone attack on Kropyvnytskyi.

It is also reported online that air defense systems were active in the Kropyvnytskyi area.

Shahed drone attack

As previously reported, Russian forces launched kamikaze drones towards Ukraine on the evening of Friday, April 25, for another airstrike. The enemy strike drones entered the country's airspace from the southern direction and then began maneuvering.

Air alerts were declared in several regions due to the threat of drone strikes.
