Rail traffic restored
After a temporary suspension of services due to a power outage caused by a massive Russian attack, all trains have been picked up by backup diesel locomotives and are running.
The railway stations, which were also left without power due to the outage in the city's networks, have been switched to backup generators. They are functioning as staging areas where citizens can charge their gadgets and wait out the alarm in shelters.
Suburban electric trains in some regions are running with delays, but City Express in Kyiv and Dnipro remain unchanged and run on schedule.
Ukrainian Railways reported that passengers who missed their trains due to the prolonged air raids will be picked up with the same tickets for the next flights to the same destination within a day.
Massive Russian shelling of Ukraine
Russia has once again launched a massive air attack against Ukraine. During the night and morning, in addition to the use of drones, dozens of Kinzhal missiles were launched. During the night, ten Tu-95MS strategic bombers were reported to have taken off, as well as Russian ships carrying Kalibr missiles to the Black Sea.
Several Ukrainian cities experienced power outages, leading to water cut-offs in some regions. Due to the massive attack, traffic restrictions have been imposed on the Kyiv metro: two of the three subway lines are running with changes in routes.
