Zelenskyy announces key meetings in US and reveals what's on agenda

New meetings with partners in the US
According to the president, meetings with partners in the United States will take place soon.
"We are preparing meetings in the US with our partners. This concerns negotiations – bringing peace closer – and some other important issues, including energy, food security, and weapons," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that new support packages for Ukraine are also expected, including packages focused on air defense.
Expanding the antiballistic coalition
The president also said Ukraine is preparing to expand its antiballistic coalition.
"The task remains unchanged — to prepare a result this year that can be tested. We need a system, an effective system, one that is sufficiently scalable and, preferably, cheaper than what exists in the world today," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, cooperation with manufacturers and governments is proceeding productively enough.
"I want to thank everyone who is helping us. Right now, our biggest thanks go to Europe's strong companies capable of making a real contribution to antiballistic defense through our Freya program," he said.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that after the US announcement of a possible agreement on an energy truce, Kyiv is seeking a concrete mechanism that would guarantee Russia’s compliance with the terms.
It was also reported that on September 14, Zelenskyy said he wanted to discuss the possibility of an energy and maritime truce with US President Donald Trump during a potential meeting in New York on September 21-23.
