Russia strikes Poltava region with ballistic missile: Industrial facility damaged
Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on the Poltava region on the evening of October 8. An industrial facility was damaged, according to the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin.
“Last night, Russia attacked the Poltava region with 3 ballistic missiles. An industrial facility in the region was damaged,” he said.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
Russian ballistic missile attack on Poltava region
On the evening of October 8 and on the night of October 9, Russian troops again fired at Ukraine. In particular, late in the evening of October 8, explosions were reported in Poltava and Kremenchuk.
The Ukrainian military reported high-speed targets in the direction of the Poltava region. Later, Pronin said that, preliminarily, there were no hits on civilian infrastructure.
Later, the Russian occupiers launched kamikaze drones across Ukraine. An alert was declared in several regions, and air defense was deployed in the Kyiv region.
In total, Russia launched 3 ballistic missiles at the Poltava region and 22 Shaheds at Ukraine. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 21 Russian drones, and 1 more probably returned to Russia.
