Russia strikes playground in Ukraine's Kherson: One killed, children among injured

Shanko said that the Russian forces attacked the Korabelnyi district of the city at 05:30 pm Kyiv time using a multiple launch rocket system. The strike hit a children’s playground where parents were resting with their children.
"A 36-year-old mother and her two daughters, aged 6 and 3, were injured. They sustained blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds," he noted.
Shanko added that all three injured are currently under medical supervision.
Prokudin reported that a man was also killed in the attack on Kherson, and his identity is currently being established.
In addition, a 50-year-old man sustained a blast injury, a closed head injury, a concussion, and a shrapnel wound to the leg.
Today, as a result of a Russian strike on the Odesa region, residential buildings, a Nova Poshta branch (postal service), and a grocery store were damaged. Several private cars caught fire.
Eleven people were injured, eight of whom were hospitalized. Among the wounded are six men, three women, and two children aged 11 and 12.
In addition, on May 27, Russian forces attacked Chernihiv with drones — more than 15 explosions were heard in the city. The strike damaged one of the city’s enterprises.
Overall, during the night of May 27, the enemy launched 163 drones across Ukraine, including jet-powered ones. Air defense forces shot down 150 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
