Russia strikes Odesa region: Port infrastructure hit, casualties reported

On the night of November 29, Russian forces launched a massive drone attack on the Odesa region. The enemy hit the port and transport infrastructure. Due to the strike, there were civilian casualties, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Telegram channel of Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
"In the Odesa district, private houses, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged. Seven civilians sustained injuries and acute stress reactions," stated the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to Kiper, four of the injured were hospitalized, including one woman in critical condition, while the others are in moderate condition.
"Three of the injured victims received assistance on-site," added Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Consequences of Russian attack
In three settlements of the Odesa district, 13 residential and country houses, garages, railway infrastructure, outbuildings, a gas pipeline, and a car were damaged.
The Russian military also struck the port and transport infrastructure in the region.

Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was started on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Russian attack on Ukraine
On the night of November 29, Russian forces launched dozens of drones against Ukraine. Following the massive November 28 attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, the eleventh in 2024, this time, Russian troops did not use missiles.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army attacked with 132 drones, 88 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense. In addition, 41 drones were locally lost.
Just yesterday, on November 28, the Russian military attacked the Odesa region during a massive assault on Ukraine. In that attack, three people were injured in the area.
