Russia strikes nearly all districts of Kyiv, causing power and water outages

On the night of November 14, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Kyiv using drones and missiles. The effects are visible in almost all districts of the capital, with many buildings on fire, according to the Telegram channel of Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.
“As a result of the massive combined attack on the capital, as of 02:20 Kyiv time on November 14, damage to residential buildings has been recorded in several districts of the city. Medical teams have hospitalized two casualties,” Klitschko wrote.
He also provided details for each district, including:
- Darnytskyi district: debris fell into the courtyard of a residential building and on the grounds of an educational institution. In addition, a car caught fire as a result of falling debris.
- Dniprovskyi district: three multi-apartment residential buildings and a private estate were damaged; a fire also broke out in an open area.
- Podilskyi district: five residential buildings and a non-residential building were damaged.
- Shevchenkivskyi district: debris caused a fire in an open area near a medical facility, as well as in a non-residential building.
- Holosiivskyi district: debris caused a fire in a medical facility, and a non-residential building was also damaged.
- Desnianskyi district: fires broke out in two residential buildings.
- Solomianskyi district: a fire was recorded on the roof of one residential building.
- Sviatoshynskyi district: a private house caught fire due to falling debris.
The mayor of Kyiv added that medical teams and emergency rescue services are currently working at all locations. He also warned that there may be interruptions in the electricity and water supply in the city.
Klitschko reported two hospitalizations. However, Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko has currently informed that six people were injured in the Dnipro district of the capital.
Additionally, the enemy attack on the capital is ongoing.

Klitschko clarified that as a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv, sections of the city’s heating networks were damaged.
In particular, in the Desnianskyi District, due to an emergency on the heat main, heating is temporarily unavailable in some buildings.
“City utility services are currently working on-site: promptly assessing the nature of the damage and beginning immediate restoration,” the mayor added.

“There are already 11 injured in the capital. Five of them have been hospitalized by medical teams, including a pregnant woman. One man is in extremely serious condition,” the head of Kyiv reported.
Attack on Kyiv
The Russian army regularly attempts to attack the capital using strike drones and various types of missiles.
For example, on the night of November 8, the enemy also attempted to strike the capital with drones. In particular, in the Pecherskyi district, debris was recorded falling into the yard of a residential building.
