Russia strikes medevac vehicle with drone in Kharkiv region: Two medics killed
On the afternoon of Wednesday, August 14, the Russian army attacked a vehicle belonging to the medical battalion Hospitallers with a drone in the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz, the Kharkiv region, according to the head of the investigative department of the Kharkiv region police, Serhii Bolvinov, on Facebook.
According to his information, Russian forces struck the vehicle with an FPV drone.
"Two medics—a man and a woman—who were in the vehicle were killed," Bolvinov wrote.
The drone explosion also hit a civilian car that was traveling in the same direction. There were three people in that vehicle, and all of them were injured.
On May 29, during a rotation in the Kharkiv region, journalist and Hospitallers paramedic Iryna "Cheka" Tsybukh was killed.
RBC-Ukraine also reported the death of Denys Zelenyi, who was the author of the most famous photo of the Serebryanske Forestry.
