Russia strikes Kyiv with drones: Consequences reported
Russian drones attacked Kyiv on the night of January 10. Rescuers showed the consequences of the enemy shelling, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
That night, the Russian occupiers sent attack drones to Kyiv. Air defense was operating in the capital.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a Russian drone hit the technical floor of a 16-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district. A fire was avoided. A car was also damaged in the yard of the high-rise building. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.
“As of 10:30 a.m. Kyiv time, the dangerous structures on the roof and technical floor have been cleared. Work is underway on the stairwell,” the SESU added.
A total of 28 rescuers and five units of special equipment are working at the site.
Russian drone attack on Ukraine
On the night of January 10, Russians once again attacked Ukraine with drones. The launch of enemy drones became known on the evening of January 9.
The movement of Russian drones was recorded in the northern, central, eastern, and southern regions, as well as in Kyiv. Air defense forces were working in the capital at night. As reported, Russian drone debris fell on a high-rise building in the Solomianskyi district.
In total, Russia launched 72 drones at Ukraine overnight. Of these, 33 were shot down, and 34 were lost in the area. The attack resulted in five hits on businesses and outbuildings in the frontline area in the north of Chernihiv region.
