Russia strikes Kyiv's another major bridge again

On the morning of October 4, Russians once again struck the Pivnichnyi (Northern) Bridge in Kyiv with a drone, hitting the roadway, according to Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko.
"A Russian drone struck the road surface on the Pivnichnyi Bridge. Emergency services are heading to the scene," Klitschko says.
Further details regarding the consequences of the crash are currently unknown.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reports that buses No. 22 and 91 traveling from the left bank to the right bank of Kyiv are temporarily rerouted via the Darnytsia Bridge.
Traffic is being routed as follows: Mykola Bazhan Avenue – Dniprovska Embankment – Berezniakivska Street – Yurii Shumsky Street – Petro Radzin Street – Darnytskyi Road-Rail Bridge – Naddniprianske Highway – Mykola Mikhnovskyi Boulevard – Holosiivskyi Avenue, then following their regular routes.
From the right bank to the left bank, buses Nos. 22 and 91 are operating according to previously modified routes.
A heating main in Kyiv has also been damaged as a result of the Russian strike.
As a result, there will be a temporary lack of hot water in the Desnianskyi district. Repair crews will work to restore the hot water supply.
Russian attacks on Kyiv bridges
On the morning of October 3, Russian forces struck the Pivnichnyi Bridge in Kyiv with a drone.
Russian strike damaged the road surface and the trolleybus overhead wires. Traffic across the bridge from the left bank to the right bank has been blocked. Two people were injured.
The day before, Russia struck the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge in Kyiv.
The bridge suffered its first strike on October 1, when it was attacked by two drones.
That evening, the Russian strike damaged a support pillar, the road surface, and the subway’s protective barrier.
On the night of October 2, Russia struck the Pivdennyi Bridge again and attacked it once more during the day.
