Russia strikes Kyiv: Houses and kindergarten damaged, casualties reported

On the night of February 5, Russia struck Kyiv again, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Russian drones attacked Kyiv from several directions, resulting in damage in four areas of the city.
Currently, two women are known to have been injured. One of them was hospitalized, while the other was treated by medics on site.
Solomianskyi district of Kyiv
In the residential sector, windows were broken and facades damaged in two high-rise buildings. Parked cars in the courtyards were damaged. Fires were avoided.
Russian drone debris also broke windows and damaged the facade of a kindergarten. Debris was also reported to have fallen near a shopping center.
Obolonskyi district
Debris from a Russian drone fell, causing a fire. The fire engulfed cars in one of the local parking lots. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire.
Shevchenkivskyi district
Russian drone debris hit the roof of a four-story office building. The fall caused a fire on the roof, which the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has already extinguished.
Darnitskyi district
Russian drone debris fell near a cafe located on the first floor of a residential building. Fortunately, the building itself was not damaged, and there were no casualties.
Emergency services and investigative teams are still working at the scene.

The police and rescue services are working at the sites where the debris fell, documenting the consequences of the Russian strikes and providing necessary assistance to those affected.
Other Russian attacks
On the evening of February 4, the Sumy region was attacked by Russian drones, as a result of which one of the drones hit a civilian car carrying a family of three. All passengers were injured.
Russia also bombarded Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region throughout the day on February 4, leaving more than 53,000 residents without electricity.
