Russia strikes Kharkiv region village, killing 10

On August 18, Russia launched a missile strike on Pechenihy in Ukraine's Kharkiv region. According to the latest reports, 10 civilians were killed, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
“Russian forces launched a missile strike on Pechenihy. According to preliminary information, 10 people were killed,” Syniehubov confirmed.
According to him, eight more civilians were injured. They are already receiving the necessary medical assistance.
Syniehubov added that the Russian attack damaged 10 private homes, a cafe, a post office, a store and at least seven vehicles.
The regional governor stressed that emergency services had already arrived at the scene and begun dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
The regional governor reported that the number of people injured in the Russian attack had risen to 17.
“Medical teams and other emergency services are working at the scene. Everyone is receiving the necessary assistance,” Syniehubov stressed.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said the enemy launched the aerial attack at around 8:40 a.m.
According to the latest information, Russian forces used two small cruise missiles known as Banderol.
