Russia strikes Kharkiv city center with guided aerial bombs
This afternoon, April 9, explosions were heard in Kharkiv. An alert was issued in the region, according to the Kharkiv regional police, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, and the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
Initially, the police reported the sound of explosions in the city. Before that, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles in the Kharkiv region. Then Syniehubov reported that the Russians had struck Kharkiv.
And Terekhov reported two strikes in the central part of the city.
"Preliminary - guided aerial bombs. Information about the victims and destruction is being clarified," the mayor writes.
Victims
Syniehubov says that two people were injured as a result of the Russian strikes on Kharkiv.
"Special services are working on the ground," the head of the region writes.
Number of victims increased
Terekhov says that there are currently three injured. However, the search for the wounded at the place of strikes continues.

The Russian occupiers continue to regularly shell Kharkiv and the region with combined attacks, striking during the day and at night. The regions of the northeastern and eastern parts of the region are particularly dangerous.
