Russia tried to destroy a fire station in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. The Russian invaders fired 3 times at rescuers, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On the morning of August 30, Russian troops attacked the fire and rescue unit of the city of Nikopol three times.

Russian shelling damaged the gate of the fire station building, the roof of the warehouse building, and a rescue boat.

"Fortunately, none of the personnel was injured," the SES says.

Nikopol is under constant Russian fire. Russian occupiers are attacking the city, which is located on the banks of the Dnipro River, on the other side of the river, which was occupied by Russia at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Russians are hitting Nikopol with drones, artillery, and other weapons.

Russian night attack

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that on the night of August 30, Russians fired 18 kamikaze drones and an Iskander-M ballistic missile from Crimea into Ukraine.

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 12 Russian Shaheds, and four more drones were lost locally.

The Russian occupiers also launched an air strike on the city of Sumy. An enterprise engaged in the production of packaging for baby food, juices, and household chemicals was hit.

9 people were injured in the Russian attack. One casualty was reported - a woman died in hospital as a result of her injuries.
