Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih twice with strike drones. After the first strike, which killed 2 people, Russians launched a new attack on the city, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council.
In the early morning, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with Shahed-type strike drones.
2 people were killed when a Russian strike hit an industrial facility. The facility itself and its infrastructure were also damaged.
Vilkul urged residents not to ignore air raid sirens, as the threat of further strikes persisted.
He later reported that Russian troops had attacked the city with drones a second time.
"Another Shahed attack on an industrial facility in the city. There is a fire. An emergency rescue operation has begun," Vilkul wrote.
Details regarding the consequences of the second Russian strike are still being confirmed.
In addition, in the Nikopol district, Russian troops attacked Nikopol and the Marhanets community with drones. A 66-year-old man was killed there. An administrative building, private homes, a farm building, and a truck were damaged.
In Kryvyi Rih, all emergency services, public transportation, hospitals, and social institutions continue to operate.
On the night of July 3, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih.
