On the night of February 13, Russia struck Odesa's energy infrastructure, severely damaging the equipment, DTEK energy company says.

"At night, Russia again launched devastating strikes on the energy infrastructure of Odesa. The damage is severe," the statement says.

The company notes that repairs will take a long time to restore the equipment to working order.

"We are currently working on site, clearing the debris. We will do everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack as quickly as possible. The primary task is to restore electricity to critical infrastructure facilities," DTEK adds.

Russian strike on Ukraine on February 13

On the night of February 13, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and 154 strike drones. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the Russian targets.

At the same time, one missile and 22 strike drones were recorded hitting 18 locations, and downed Russian targets fell on two locations.

The port in the Odesa region was under Russian drone attack. One person was killed, and six others were wounded as a result of the Russian attack.

The targets of Russian troops in the region were port, residential, industrial, and energy infrastructure facilities in the region. Fertilizer warehouses were damaged in the port, and fires broke out, engulfing four passenger cars and freight cars.
