Russia strikes port in Ukraine's Odesa region: One killed and civilians injured in drone attack

On the night of February 13, the port in the Odesa region was under attack by Russian drones. As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and six others were injured, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine - Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba reports.
According to him, in the Odesa region, Russian troops attacked one of the ports with drones.
As a result of the strike, one person was killed, and six others were injured, three of them are in serious condition. All injured received necessary medical assistance. Among them are exclusively civilians.
As clarified by the head of Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, targets of Russian troops were facilities of the port, residential, industrial, and energy infrastructure of the region.
In port, warehouses with fertilizers were damaged, and fires broke out — four passenger cars and freight wagons caught fire.
In Odesa itself, hits and falling debris of drone were recorded on the territory of a car dealership and sanatorium. Two Shahed drones hit apartments in two residential buildings, but without further fire.
Currently, elimination of consequences is ongoing, and all relevant emergency services are working.
In addition, during the day Russian army carried out drone attacks on the railway infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. As Kuleba clarified, damage did not affect the movement of trains.
Minister emphasized that Russia deliberately and systematically attacks logistics infrastructure of Ukraine — facilities that ensure exports, operation of businesses, supplies to regions, and viability of frontline communities.

Earlier, Russian troops at night attacked the infrastructure of the port of Pivdennyi near Odesa. Several fires broke out as a result of the attack.
