Two employees of the regional power company were injured during the Russian strikes. Both women were quickly evacuated and taken to a medical facility.

The condition of the other employee is considered more severe: the woman suffered burns and a concussion and was unconscious during transport to the hospital.

Doctors are currently conducting a full examination to establish a final diagnosis.

"Energy workers are making every effort to restore power as soon as the security situation allows," the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine says.

Russian attack on Ukraine's energy sector on January 13 and consequences

Last night, Russians carried out another massive missile and drone attack on the energy infrastructure of several regions of Ukraine.

As a result of the Russian strike, consumers in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Chernihiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions were left without power in the morning.

In Odesa, two DTEK energy facilities were damaged by the Russian Shahed attack. Currently, 47,000 families in the city are without power.

Also, according to DTEK, the Russians attacked a thermal power plant again last night, causing significant damage to the Thermal Power Plant's equipment.
