Russia's war crimes

During the war against Ukraine, the Russian military committed a number of crimes, including attacks on civilians, and the destruction of residential areas, educational institutions, hospitals, and critical infrastructure.

According to international norms, attacks on civilian objects, as well as indiscriminate shelling that endangers human life, constitute a gross violation of the rules of warfare. The tragedies in Bucha, Irpin, and Mariupol have gained a wide resonance.

On November 11, Russians murdered a civilian in the village of Novooleksiyivka near the town of Selydove after it was occupied by Russian forces.

Also on November 17, terrorists attacked a densely populated area of Sumy with rockets. A multi-story building was hit.
