At night, Russia massively attacked Dnipro with drones. 15 people were injured, and houses and businesses were damaged, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On the night of April 9, the Russian army massively attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. The city of Dnipro was hit the hardest.

As a result of the Russian attack, 15 people were injured, 8 of them in hospitals. Most of the injuries are of moderate severity.

According to preliminary data, Russians damaged 15 private houses, 4 high-rise buildings, and about 20 cars in Dnipro.

Several businesses have also been destroyed, as well as administrative buildings and infrastructure. All fires caused by the strikes have been extinguished.

Over 90 rescuers and 19 pieces of equipment were involved in the firefighting.

Situation in region

In addition to Dnipro, Russia attacked Apostolove in Kryvyi Rih district, where a private enterprise was damaged, with no casualties.

Russia also struck the Nikopol district. Kamikaze drones hit Nikopol and the Marhanets community. A sports facility was damaged. No one was killed or injured.

A series of explosions occurred in the city between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Kyiv time. The Ukrainian Air Force had previously warned that several groups of attack drones were flying in the direction of Dnipro and Kamianske.

Later, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration informed that fires broke out in the city as a result of the Russian drone attack. According to preliminary data, private houses and cars were damaged. Later, it became known about the victims.
