Today, January 19, Russians fired several missiles at critical infrastructure in Kharkiv, causing significant damage, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"Russia attacked a critical infrastructure facility with four missiles, causing significant damage," says the mayor of Kharkiv.
Terekhov also reports that debris from a Russian drone had been found in the Novobavarskyi district. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Russians attack Kharkiv and region
Russian troops are systematically striking Kharkiv, using drones, missiles, aerial bombs, and other types of weapons for their attacks.
In particular, on Saturday evening, January 17, Russian forces again struck the city. According to preliminary data, at least two hits were recorded.
In addition, on the same day, between 2:10 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., Russia attacked Kharkiv with Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that the strike hit a critical infrastructure facility — a system that provides the city with electricity and heat. According to him, the facility suffered significant damage.
Also, a minor girl was recently injured as a result of a Russian drone attack in the Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv.
In addition, on January 13, a Russian strike drone hit a children's sanatorium in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the city, causing a fire.
On the same day, Russian troops struck the suburbs of Kharkiv, killing two people and injuring several others. Footage was also released of the Nova Poshta post terminal near the city, which was destroyed by a Russian strike.
