Russia strikes bridge in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia, leaving 5 injured

On the morning of October 6, Russian forces attacked the bridge across the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia. Traffic on the bridge was temporarily blocked, and two men were hospitalized, according to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Two men, aged 43 and 54, were injured in the Russian attack.
They were taken to the hospital; both are in stable condition.

Traffic on the bridge has been temporarily blocked. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
As of 7:45 a.m. Kyiv time, the number of people injured in the morning Russian attack rose to five. In addition to two men aged 43 and 54, a 24-year-old woman, a 59-year-old woman, and a 36-year-old man were injured.
It later emerged that the first two victims were Red Cross employees: the Russian attack caught them on their way to work. All the injured are receiving medical care.
Over the past week, the Russians have been systematically targeting bridges across the Dnipro River in Kyiv. On October 1, the Pivdennyi (South) Bridge was attacked by 2 Russian drones, and that evening, a strike damaged its support structure and the road surface. On the morning of October 3, the Pivnichnyi (North) Bridge was also struck, damaging the road surface and the trolleybus network.
