On the night of Wednesday, July 1, Russia launched drone attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging five gas stations. According to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, there was one fatality and several injuries as a result of the Russian attacks.

"One woman was killed, and three were injured. Russia attacked five gas stations in the region overnight. One of the injured is in the hospital; two women are receiving outpatient treatment after receiving medical care," Hanzha writes.

He also adds that equipment was damaged and fires broke out at all the facilities struck by Russia.

Later, the official wrote that last night, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 11 attack drones in the skies over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
