Russia spreads false claims about capturing village in Kharkiv region - Ukraine's Forces

Russian media outlets continue to systematically distort the real picture of combat operations, using the Kharkiv direction to spread false claims of successes, according to the 16th Army Corps.
'Credit' tactic and the real situation
As reported by the official spokesperson of the operational-tactical group of forces, the enemy has once again resorted to the so-called "settlement on credit" method.
The essence of this strategy is the premature announcement of control over territories that, in reality, remain under the fire or physical control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, Russian online media actively circulated reports about the capture of the village of Zybyne in the Kharkiv region.
This information fully contradicts the operational situation in the specified section of the front and is considered an element of psychological pressure.
Assault attempts of the 127th regiment
In this sector, activity has been recorded by units of the 127th Motor Rifle Regiment of the 71st Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Federation.
The occupying forces continue attempts to expand their so-called "zone of control," conducting assaults in small groups.
The enemy command is deploying reserves for offensive actions in hopes of securing new positions; however, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions and suppress any breakthrough attempts.
Effective fire strikes and enemy losses
Thanks to effective reconnaissance and timely detection of enemy movement, the assault groups were targeted by fire already at the stage of deployment.
The plan for a covert approach to Ukrainian defensive lines has completely failed.
According to the results of the engagement, Russian units suffered the following losses:
- Irrecoverable: 8 personnel eliminated;
- Sanitary: 4 wounded to varying degrees;
- Equipment: one unit of light transport (quad bike) destroyed.
The Defense Forces demonstrate a high level of coordination, allowing them to respond promptly to changes in enemy tactics.
Despite information leaks, the situation remains under control, and the unity of different units ensures reliable defense on the Kharkiv direction.
In modern warfare practice, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are showing rapid growth in the use of robotic systems, which helps minimize risks to personnel.
It is noted that Russian occupation units still lack the capability to approach the administrative center of the Sumy region, remaining at a significant distance from the city.
