Russia shelling Kherson: Ukrainian forces shooting down drones, casualties reported
The Russian army tonight, on December 19, began attacking with drones in Kherson. As a result, two people were injured, according to the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, the chief of the Kherson Regional Police, Roman Mrochko, and the first deputy chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, Yurii Sobolevskyi.
"The occupiers struck Kherson. As a result of the attack, a child and a woman were injured," the message says.
According to Prokudin, there is damage to educational facilities, homes, and garages.
Mrochko has reported that there are mobile brigades working in the city, and drones have been shot down.

Sobolevskyi reported that attacks are being recorded in the central part of Kherson.

Prokudin has reported that one family was affected.
"A 28-year-old woman and her three daughters, aged 2, 4, and 9," wrote the head of the region.

Russian occupiers practically daily target populated areas in the Kherson region, often shelling from the left bank of the region. As a result of enemy attacks on residential areas, civilians suffer injuries, and there have been cases of local residents' deaths.
For example, on December 17, Russian forces again attacked the territories of the Kherson region, resulting in one person's death, and six law enforcement officers were injured.
Before that, on the night of December 16, Russian occupiers shelled Kherson and the region. The enemy used artillery as well as drones of Iranian design. In Kherson, there was an impact near an infrastructure object, causing damage to the building. Two men were injured.
