This is not the first attack on the Rostov-on-Don airfield - previously, on September 6, Ukrainian Defense Forces had already struck this facility.
On August 29, a warehouse of the tech giant DNS caught fire in Rostov-on-Don following drone attacks.
Even earlier, on July 27, drones attacked Rostov, and according to monitoring sources, railway infrastructure and the local port came under fire.
