According to an analysis by the publication ASTRA, smoke is rising over the Rostov Sea Trade Port after the attack – it was recorded in the area of the fourth cargo zone.
According to authorities, as a result of the night attacks in Rostov, two people were killed, and five others were injured. A residential building on Berehova Street, located just 1.5 kilometers from the port, was also damaged.
The Rostov Sea Trade Port is a universal transshipment complex which, despite being located on the Don River, is considered a seaport as it is part of the Azov-Black Sea basin system and serves international shipping. The port accepts vessels under foreign flags and operates routes to countries in the Black Sea and Mediterranean basins.
On the night of July 25, drones had already attacked Rostov, Engels, and Luhansk, causing fires, including a fire in a barracks building.
Earlier this week, drones attacked Belgorod, where a likely target could have been the FSB building, and a whole part of the city, including the center, was left without power.
