Russia's Rostov comes under drone attack as electronics retailer warehouse burns

In Rostov-on-Don, a warehouse belonging to the major electronics retailer DNS caught fire following a drone attack, according to OSINT channels.
Russian media reported that the DNS warehouse building was engulfed in flames, and staff were evacuated in time.
Local authorities also reported damage in the city's Proletarskyi district. Emergency services are at the scene. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured in the fire.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities reported a massive drone attack on the Rostov region. According to the regional governor, air defence forces allegedly shot down over 70 drones. The drones, according to the Russian side, were downed in several districts of the region. Falling debris sparked fires in multiple locations.
In the Chertkovsky district, debris was found on the premises of an agricultural warehouse. In the village of Novoselovka, dry grass caught fire after debris fell; the blaze was later extinguished.
Another fire broke out in the Chebotovka hamlet in the Tarasovsky district, where a harvested field ignited following the impact of drone fragments.
Fire at a plant in Aksai
Public channels also reported a fire at a shipbuilding plant in Aksai, located not far from Rostov, as a result of the drone attack. A vessel was reportedly ablaze there.
In Rostov, two warehouses belonging to DNS and Ozon are burning following a drone attack, as became known on the morning of 29 August.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck a drone storage facility in Rostov.
