6,000 FPV drones destroyed: Ukraine hits Russian command post and drone depot

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a command post near Sudzha in Russia's Kursk region and destroyed a UAV depot in the Rostov region. About 6,000 FPV drones were eliminated, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
According to the General Staff, on the night of February 9, the command post of the enemy airborne unit was hit in the area of the city of Sudzha in Russia's Kursk region.
In addition, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, near the settlement of Novooleksiivka, the Defense Forces struck an enemy ammunition depot.
Results of previous strikes also confirmed the destruction of the drone warehouse in the area of Rostov-on-Don in the Rostov region.
"According to preliminary data, about 6,000 FPV drones were destroyed. Several other containers with drones were also damaged," the statement said.
General Staff noted that enemy losses and the scale of damage inflicted are being clarified.
Other successful operations
In January, the Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on Kapustin Yar training ground in Russia's Astrakhan region, from which Russian forces launched Oreshnik missiles at Ukraine.
It later became known that, as a result of a strike by Ukrainian Flamingo missiles on a Russian training ground, facilities servicing ballistic missiles and other technical structures were damaged.
