Russia's massive attack on Ukraine's Yarova: Number of victims rises

After the Russian strike on Yarova in the Donetsk region, the number of victims rose to 23, with some of the wounded in serious condition, according to Oleksandr Zhuravliov, head of the Lyman city military administration.
"As of 1:50 p.m. Kyiv time, the death toll from the Russian strike on Yarova in the Donetsk region has risen to 23. We also know of 18 residents of the village who were wounded, 3 of whom are in severe condition," Zhuravliov says.
According to him, the village in the Lyman community was initially struck with a Russian KAB-250 guided aerial bomb. Most of the victims are people of retirement age. Some of the wounded were evacuated to a hospital in Sloviansk, including those in severe condition.
"At 10:40 a.m. Kyiv time, Russia struck the place where Ukrainian Post was issuing pensions to the population in Yarova with a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb. Currently, 23 people have been killed and 18 wounded. Their conditions vary. Three are in severe condition, the others are more or less stable, and they were taken to Sloviansk for stabilization," emphasizes the head of the Lyman city military administration.
The National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military, and military administration employees continue to work at the site of the Russian strike to determine the exact number of wounded and killed.

This morning, Russian troops dropped an aerial bomb on people receiving pensions in the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region. Over 20 people were killed in the Russian attack.
