Russia's losses in Ukraine as of September 16: +1100 soldiers and dozens of drones

Over the past day, from September 15 to 16, Russian losses in the war against Ukraine amounted to 1,060 military personnel. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed an enemy multiple-launch rocket system, 14 artillery systems, and 29 drones, reports the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to September 16, 2024, are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 634 860 (+1060) troops;
- tanks - 8683 (+3);
- troop-carrying AFVs - 17 071 (+8);
- artillery systems - 18 123 (+14);
- MLRS - 1187 (+1);
- anti-aircraft defense systems - 947;
- aircraft - 369;
- helicopters - 328;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 15 263 (+29);
- cruise missiles - 2,592;
- warships/boats - 28;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tankers - 24 712 (+28);
- special equipment - 3090 (+6).
It should be noted that in the evening report from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces yesterday, it was stated that by 22:00, 137 combat engagements had been recorded along the front over the day.
Additionally, the General Staff specified that the highest number of clashes occurred in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
